The Evolution of the PDA
In recent years, many business people, professionals and ordinary consumers have been buying personal digital assistants, electronic devices designed to organize and simplify life.
The first PDAs, which hit the market in the mid-1990s, were little more than the glory of notebooks, which can store a record number of tickets, phone numbers, calendars, day by days by appointment of an electronic device. This led to a significant drop in demand for standalone Palm and Pocket PC, which are increasingly being replaced by smartphones, the convergence of devices that integrate mobile computing with wireless communication.
Most new smartphones fully functional used cell phones, while incorporating many features of a laptop. Each unit is equipped with its own operating system, with a wide range of software specially designed for mobile devices. They are also able to access the Internet, usually on a cellular connection to broadband, and can be used to check email when on the go.
Although the cost is prohibitive for most consumers, PDA smartphone has become an institution among users of the company, and are now a necessity for many business mobile.
Overall the PDA manufacturers do a good job of the development of new technologies, and provide users more efficient and functional experience.
